Do we as a people have the right to call ourselves humanbeings?
That aquires being human and every where I look, I see so manny inhumane things happening all around the world.
Pointless wars, trafficing of people, a growing sexindustry including children under the age of I don't e...ven want to know, 'just' your 'regular' killings in schools and abuse in daycare centres or churches or mosks or mandirs or synagoges, women raped in busses, no repect or considoration of the human soul or mother nature for that matter with polution of air, sea, earth, with us bringing down trees, killing our beloved wildlife and so on.
Our hunger for power, material gains, lust, vanity, it blinds us all.
For how can we genuinely be happy when knowing that a part of our people is suffering on so manny different levels...
Though I see this happening I feel lost, lost for words, lost for comprehension, lost for time, lost for action.
Today I prayed for Palestine at 23.00 at my house for though I am not a muslim, I feel I am human and I hurt from the suffering of my people...
I cried through my prayers straight for 30 minutes I do not know what to do and I feel lost.
I don't know where to start and how to put a HALT to all of this suffering that we bring to our people and even worse to our children.
I say 'we' because I hold all of us responsible for all of the suffering in this world.
And I know this is a big burden but it is a shared one and hopefully with a shared solution.
I say 'our' because we are the humanrace, animals with the capability of thinking, putting thought in to words, communicating, cultivating and knowing the difference between right and wrong.
And still there is so much wrong in this world....How come that we keep losing our ways?
We know that we can learn and on some lower level we do, but when it comes to actually learning from history, we seem to be mindless creatures.
We lose ourselves in political games, in mindless dispute over whom get's what part of the world, whom get's to controll whom.
And so we mindlessly descide who get's to be rich or poor, who get's to live or die. We seem to be losing on so manny accounts.
When do we as a people descide that enough is enough...when will we work on a better life together, being responsible for eachother, think of eachother...
If everyone would think of the other than everyone would be thought of and we would see this heaven we are given...
We are failing eachother and so we are failing ourselves.
Moreover we are losing eachother and in doing so we are losing ourselves.
If so, than are we choosing to lose?
